Black Forest Labs has recently unveiled its newest image generation model, FLUX1.1 Pro, alongside the release of the BFL API beta designed for developers and enterprises.

FLUX1.1 Pro offers a substantial improvement in image generation speed, achieving a sixfold increase over its predecessor. Additionally, enhancements have been made to image quality, adherence to instructions, and diversity. The model was evaluated on the Artificial Analysis image testing platform under the codename "Blueberry," where it achieved the highest overall Elo rating, outperforming other leading models in visual realism and precision.

The BFL API allows developers to leverage FLUX’s functionalities directly, providing advanced customization options such as model selection, image resolution, and content moderation. Designed for scalability, the API is suitable for projects ranging from small applications to enterprise-level solutions.

The FLUX1.1 Pro model is currently available for use on the Freepik platform and will be promoted through partners like Together.ai, Replicate, and Fal.ai. Looking ahead, the model will support ultra-high-definition image generation up to 2K while maintaining accurate instruction following.
