Lenovo Tech World: AIPC Unveils New Innovations, Paving the Way for AI in Every Home
On April 18th, the highly anticipated Lenovo Tech World, an innovation conference hosted by Lenovo, was grandly held in Shanghai. In the keynote speech on the first day of the conference, Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, made a stunning announcement that Lenovo's first truly "hardware + edge-cloud combined AI" AIPC product has officially debuted. He also unveiled Lenovo's new strategic vision for AI, aiming to promote the popularization of artificial intelligence from the cloud to every household and penetrate into various industries.
Yang Yuanqing elaborated on the product features and positioning of Lenovo AIPC. This product is equipped with an AI agent called "Lenovo Xiaotian," which can interact naturally with users. It also integrates the local heterogeneous computing power of CPU, GPU, and NPU, providing users with the ability to build personal knowledge bases. At the same time, it connects to an open artificial intelligence application ecosystem and demonstrates outstanding capabilities in protecting personal data and privacy.
Yang Yuanqing emphasized that this AIPC product marks a significant transformation in the PC industry. It is no longer just a traditional Personal Computer but has evolved into an AI Personalized Computer.
At the conference, Lenovo launched six AI PC products, including Yoga Book AI Genesis Edition, Yoga Pro 16s AI Genesis Edition, ThinkPad T14p AI Genesis Edition, ThinkBook 16p AI Genesis Edition, Yoga Air 14 AI Genesis Edition, and Xiaoxin Pro 16 AI Genesis Edition, showcasing Lenovo's profound technological accumulation and extensive layout in the field of AI.
Yang Yuanqing further pointed out that with the continuous development of AI in the edge-cloud combination, both individual users and enterprise users will benefit greatly. For individual users, computers, smartphones, and other computing devices with built-in personal agents will become the most convenient way to experience AI. Lenovo compresses large models into smart devices through self-developed model compression technology, combining natural interaction and personal knowledge base technology to bring users an unprecedented intelligent experience.
As for enterprise users, Yang Yuanqing stated that in the future, AI will not only run on public clouds but also be widely deployed in local data centers, private clouds, hybrid clouds, and edge computing. The distribution of computing power will be more balanced. This requires the realization of enterprise agents to rely on a hybrid infrastructure, including edge, cloud, network, and intelligence, to collaborate. Lenovo is actively deploying and building this new IT architecture to meet the diverse needs of enterprises for AI.
The Lenovo Tech World innovation conference not only showcased Lenovo's innovative achievements in the field of AI but also indicated that artificial intelligence is gradually moving towards broader application scenarios, profoundly changing people's lives and work styles. Lenovo will continue to lead technological innovation, promote the popularization and development of AI technology, and contribute to the construction of an intelligent society.
