One highlight of the integration is that Apple's virtual assistant, Siri, will be able to leverage ChatGPT's intelligence. Before users send questions, documents, or photos to ChatGPT, the system will request user authorization, and then Siri will present the answers directly to the users. Furthermore, ChatGPT will also be integrated into Apple's system-level writing tools, helping users generate content for their writing projects. The integration also includes ChatGPT's image tools, allowing users to create images in various styles to enrich their written content. Throughout the collaboration, both Apple and OpenAI prioritize privacy protection. When users use ChatGPT in Siri or writing tools, OpenAI will not store user requests, and users' IP addresses will be anonymized. Users can also choose to connect their own ChatGPT accounts for additional features while still maintaining control over their data. This collaboration not only validates OpenAI's technological capabilities but also signifies a significant step for Apple in the field of AI. The integration based on GPT-4 will be provided free of charge to all users without the need to create an account. For users who are already subscribed to ChatGPT, they can choose to connect their accounts and directly access premium features within Apple's experience.
