At the DingTalk 7.5 conference, DingTalk introduced its AI Assistant product, allowing users and businesses to create and use AI assistants according to their needs. DingTalk President Ye Jun revealed that DingTalk has reached 700 million users, with 25 million enterprise organizations and 120,000 software-paying enterprises. He also stated that DingTalk aims to build a low-threshold, high-frequency, and open AI assistant platform, with an estimated 10 million AI assistants expected to be created on DingTalk in the next three years. DingTalk's AI Assistant is capable of perception, memory, planning, and action. It can also seamlessly integrate with third-party applications and enterprise-built applications on DingTalk. Users only need to click on the magic wand on the DingTalk homepage to activate the AI assistant, which can help with tasks such as information summarization, work summaries, document writing, and accessing features like screen projection, mind maps, and whiteboards. It can also personalize features such as ringtone and caller ID, enabling quick access to more than 30 high-frequency functions and simplifying the user experience of DingTalk. DingTalk's AI Assistant is divided into enterprise AI assistants and personal AI assistants. Users can easily create AI assistants tailored to their needs, such as work AI assistants, travel AI assistants, and news AI assistants. Enterprises can also utilize their knowledge base and business data to create recruitment AI assistants, financial AI assistants, and report AI assistants, enabling data analysis and insights through conversational interactions. The AI assistant can also connect with third-party apps outside of DingTalk, such as video, news, and e-commerce apps, to perform tasks like booking flights, hotels, and arranging itineraries. DingTalk will also launch an AI Assistant marketplace, becoming the most active platform for AI assistant incubation, distribution, and transactions. In addition to the AI assistant, DingTalk 7.5 has several other upgrades, including: - Full launch of DingTalk Personal Edition, providing AI tools such as Lu Ban Camera, doodling, and legal assistants. - Upgrading the DingTalk Collaboration Tab to an information stream centered around individuals, aggregating schedules, meetings, to-dos, approvals, business processes, etc., to facilitate efficient work handling. It also introduces three new channels: Peer Circle, Job Search, and Industry News, enabling work and career growth within DingTalk. - Upgrading custom capabilities, introducing custom ringtones and caller ID, providing a wide range of preset ringtones and posters for users to choose from, making DingTalk more personalized. - Introducing the "Knock Knock" feature, where swiping down on the app homepage reveals a Ding San Duo version of the "electronic wooden fish," serving as a "workplace stress reliever." Furthermore, DingTalk's ecosystem continues to expand, with the company announcing its partnerships with Microsoft China, Xiaobing, and TAL Education at the conference. DingTalk also officially announced the launch of the Entrepreneurship Edition, a new version specifically designed for startup teams, priced at 980 yuan per year, in addition to the existing Professional Edition, Exclusive Edition, and Private Edition. The Entrepreneurship Edition provides customized workbenches, enterprise email, annual inspection certification, enterprise cloud storage, and other value-added benefits on top of the basic free version. DingTalk also announced its Entrepreneurship Support Program, offering one year of free usage support to 10,000 newly registered companies. This year, DingTalk has continuously reduced the commission fees on its open platform, facing the challenges and pressures of China's SaaS transformation in the AI era together with the industry. This time, DingTalk announced an enhanced incentive mechanism for deep integration ISVs, with eligible participants able to enjoy up to 100% commission rebate, equivalent to zero commission fees.
