According to reports, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2025. The presentation will take place on January 6 at 6:30 PM Pacific Time / 9:30 PM Eastern Time, the day before the official opening of CES in Las Vegas. This announcement comes amid rumors that NVIDIA's next-generation GPUs will debut early next year.

Last month, a source familiar with NVIDIA's plans revealed that more information about the RTX 50 series might be unveiled at the early 2025 CES. NVIDIA has been invited to serve as the official keynote speaker by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizers of CES, following their own "special announcement" live stream at CES 2024 earlier this year.

Huang's speech is expected to focus on driving NVIDIA's market capitalization to $3 trillion through AI hardware and software, and may also discuss the company's upcoming desktop GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture.

Last month, rumors emerged online regarding the specifications of NVIDIA's RTX 5090, stating that the flagship GPU of the 50 series will be equipped with 32GB of video memory (VRAM). There are also speculations that NVIDIA might announce both the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, with the latter reportedly having higher power consumption and utilizing GDDR7 memory.

Since NVIDIA first launched the RTX 40 series GPUs, including the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080, in September 2022, over two years have passed. At CES 2024, NVIDIA announced the Super versions of the RTX 40 series, including the RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4080 Super, all of which were released earlier this year.
