However, as we have seen, especially in the past few months, the AI battle has now fully unfolded, and while Midjourney may have been an early leader, many other new AI models have surpassed Midjourney with many other innovative features, such as text-to-image, text-to-video, and image-to-image.

But this latest version promises to "generate images that are more realistic than anything they have released before," as stated by Holz in a message posted on Midjourney's Discord server. He also clarified that this V6 version is their "third model trained from scratch on the AI supercluster," taking nine months to develop.

Has the Text Within Images Issue Been Resolved?

How to Use Midjourney V6

As mentioned above, this latest version of Midjourney has only released an alpha test so far. It will gradually roll out to the Discord server and may initially only be available to selected users.

That being said, there are reports that users have already been able to access the V6 version by directly messaging the Midjourney bot to access the settings in the Midjourney Discord server. Alternatively, you can also let the bot know that you want the latest model by manually inputting "--v 6" after the prompt.
