2024-02-23

At the Xiaomi 14 Ultra new product launch event held last night, the Xiaomi Imaging Brain received a comprehensive upgrade. This innovative move marks a major breakthrough for Xiaomi in the field of AI large-scale model computational photography. It is reported that the upgraded platform of Xiaomi Imaging Brain is named "Xiaomi AISP", which is the first AI large-scale model computational photography platform. By deeply integrating Xiaomi Surge OS, this platform achieves comprehensive optimization of CPU, GPU, NPU, and ISP, with a computing power of up to 60TOPS, bringing users an unprecedented photography experience. At the event, Xiaomi also introduced the ULTRA RAW super negative technology. This technology supports a maximum of 16-bit linear color depth and a maximum of 16EV dynamic range. After calibration by Adobe Labs, it is seamlessly compatible with professional workflows such as PS and LR. The introduction of this technology will give photography enthusiasts a broader space and higher degree of freedom in post-processing. In addition, AISP also introduces the ULTRA SNAP "super snapshot" function. With powerful algorithm support, this function can capture 150 photos in an instant, ensuring that users do not miss any exciting moments. In terms of imaging technology, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra launch event has made significant breakthroughs. With the introduction of new technologies such as Xiaomi AISP and ULTRA RAW super negatives, Xiaomi will continue to lead in the field of AI computational photography, bringing users more innovation and surprises.
