Lenovo seems ready to launch more affordable Copilot Plus personal computers. Reliable sources have revealed that Lenovo will be releasing multiple Copilot Plus personal computers at the IFA trade show later this week, including two models equipped with the yet-to-be-released 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus chip. Lenovo's new Copilot Plus personal computers with Qualcomm chips include the IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1, a convertible laptop with a 14-inch OLED display, and the IdeaPad Slim 5x, a full-metal flip laptop that can be equipped with a 14-inch OLED display. Both computers are powered by the new 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus chip, instead of the conventional 10-core version. The starting price for the Slim 5x is set at 899 euros (approximately 990 US dollars), while the starting price for the IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 is 999 euros. Both models are expected to be available in September. This European pricing indicates that the Copilot Plus personal computers will be priced 200 euros lower than the 1,199 euro retail price of the Surface Laptop 7, making them the most affordable Copilot Plus personal computers currently available. However, it is still unclear whether the pricing of Lenovo's new Copilot Plus personal computers in the United States will be similar to the full retail price discounts we have seen on some models. Currently, you can purchase the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus for $799.99 or the HP OmniBook X for $899.99, both of which are discounted and come with Qualcomm 10-core or 12-core Snapdragon chips. Lenovo also plans to release other Copilot Plus personal computers with Intel and AMD processors. The Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is a 15-inch laptop that features Intel's latest Core Ultra series 2 chip, while Lenovo's Yoga Pro 7 and IdeaPad Slim 5 come with AMD's latest Ryzen processors.
