Apple Plans to Launch Apple Intelligence Features for Vision Pro in April

2025-02-17

According to reports, Apple is preparing to introduce Apple Intelligence capabilities to its Vision Pro headset in an update expected as early as April.

This news comes just weeks after the unveiling of Apple Intelligence in June 2024. Previously, Gurman revealed that Apple planned to integrate a series of AI tools into the Vision Pro but how these would be redesigned for a mixed-reality experience remained uncertain at the time.

It is rumored that Apple intends to include Apple Intelligence—featuring writing tools, Genmoji, and an image playground—via the visionOS 2.4 software update. A developer version may be released within this week.

Notably, the initial set of Apple Intelligence features for Vision Pro will not include an updated version of Siri. Gurman also mentioned that due to engineering challenges and bug issues, the much-anticipated Siri upgrade might be delayed.
