At the 2025 Mobile World Congress (MWC), Lenovo unveiled two concept accessories designed for the artificial intelligence (AI) sector: the AI Display and the AI Stick. These devices are equipped with a neural processing unit (NPU) capable of performing 32 trillion operations per second (TOPS). By simply connecting them to any computer via a USB interface, users can perform AI-related tasks locally.

The AI Display and AI Stick are crafted to provide users with additional AI computing power. Thanks to the built-in NPU, these devices can handle complex AI tasks without relying on the computer’s own processor or graphics card. This feature allows almost any computer with a USB port to effortlessly manage AI workloads, significantly broadening the scope of AI applications.

While Lenovo has introduced other concept products in the past, it remains uncertain whether these two AI accessories will eventually be commercialized. Nevertheless, their debut undoubtedly offers fresh ideas and possibilities for the advancement of AI technology.
