Today, Oracle has introduced new role-based AI agents within its Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) application suite. These agents aim to streamline cumbersome workflows and assist employees in resolving various daily challenges.
According to Miranda Nash, Vice President of Oracle's AI division, the newly added agents in HCM version 25A are specifically designed for tackling "those time-consuming issues that require thorough investigation." She emphasized: "These problems are often intricate and infrequent, necessitating meticulous research." Numerous enhancements focus on improving employee self-service experiences.
In terms of career development and support, the career planning guide helps employees create systematic career advancement plans, including personalized goal setting, career path mapping, and skills development blueprints. The performance and goal assistant aids employees in refining their goal-writing skills, preparing them adequately for performance evaluations. Additionally, the learning and training consultant recommends relevant learning and training resources based on employee needs.
Regarding compensation and benefits management, the timesheet assistant automates timesheet submission, significantly saving time. The tax withholding advisor guides employees in making appropriate tax withholding choices. The compensation guideline analyst provides robust support for managerial salary decisions by combining market trends with company policies. Meanwhile, the leave and absence analyst handles leave applications and clarifies employee entitlements and benefits based on individual circumstances.
For employee lifecycle management, the new hire assistant offers comprehensive policy explanations and company culture introductions to new members. The job seeker analyst provides all-round support, including resume writing tips, interview guidance, and job search strategies.
Another self-service feature covers employee benefits and award information, allowing easy access anytime. The personal and employment details assistant maintains and updates employee records, including key milestones such as promotions, transfers, and relocations. The employee contract analyst summarizes critical terms and conditions of employment contracts.
Nash pointed out that each HCM customer enjoys an independent isolated environment in the cloud, with access control customized according to user needs. Oracle has already deployed most functions internally, successfully freeing HR personnel from routine service work so they can concentrate on more strategic tasks.
Furthermore, Nash revealed that Oracle delivered over 100 generative AI features within the Fusion product suite in 2024, expecting this number to reach new heights this year.
