According to the Windows Latest blog, Microsoft may test a new feature called "Live Canvas Panel" in the Paint application. This new feature may be similar to Midjourney and Leonardo.Ai's Live Canvas, which is an AI-driven feature that can generate sketches or digital artworks instantly based on user prompts. It is worth mentioning that Microsoft has already introduced an AI-based feature called Paint Cocreator in the Paint application, which uses OpenAI's DALL-E text-to-image technology. Like other AI-based image generators, Paint Cocreator can create images based on your descriptions. However, this feature is not free. According to the support page of this tool, Microsoft uses a credit system as virtual currency. After joining Cocreator, users will have 50 credit points. Each time an image is created, one credit point will be consumed. Therefore, the success of this development remains to be seen, as there is still limited information about the release date, whether it will be a paid feature, or how the program will be presented.
