On the first working day after the 2025 Spring Festival holiday, Huijin International Building, the headquarters of DeepSeek Company, received visits from numerous media outlets. According to the latest report by City Times, as media personnel arrived one after another, the building's property management swiftly enhanced security measures, rigorously verifying and registering everyone entering the floors occupied by DeepSeek Company.
Besides the active participation of local media, the presence of Japanese and Korean media was particularly notable in this wave of media interviews. Among them, three renowned Korean media outlets—World News, Culture Times, and EDaily—all sent interview teams. Additionally, South China Morning Post from Hong Kong also joined this round of interviews. Notably, Yomiuri Shimbun from Japan had already visited Huijin International Building five times, expressing a strong desire to interview DeepSeek Company.
However, according to feedback from the property management, around 9:05 AM, DeepSeek Company made a decision to politely decline all media interview requests. DeepSeek Company stated that they would focus on their own research and development work and hoped that the media could understand and support their decision.
