Recently, ASUS unveiled the NUC 14 Pro AI, a mini PC that stands out as the first AI device to support Copilot Plus. This compact computer is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and features a design reminiscent of the black M4 version of the Mac Mini. Initially showcased at the IFA exhibition in September, ASUS has now provided more details about its specifications, although the release date and pricing remain undisclosed.
The NUC 14 Pro AI offers five different CPU configurations, ranging from a Core Ultra 5 226V processor with 16GB of integrated memory to a Core Ultra 9 288V processor with 32GB of memory. The mini PC boasts impressive performance, with up to 67 TOPS of GPU power and 48 TOPS of NPU performance. It also includes an M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 x 4 slot that supports NVMe SSDs from 256GB to 2TB.
Despite its powerful capabilities, the NUC 14 Pro AI is remarkably compact, measuring 130 millimeters in depth and width and just 34 millimeters in height. In comparison, the Mac Mini measures 127 millimeters in depth and width and 50 millimeters in height.
On the top, the NUC 14 Pro AI features a fingerprint sensor, while the front panel includes a Copilot button for voice commands to Microsoft's AI assistant. The front panel also houses two USB-A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a headphone jack, and a power button. On the back, the device provides a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, another Thunderbolt 4 port, two additional USB-A ports, and an HDMI port. Additionally, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
ASUS has not yet announced the exact release date or price for the NUC 14 Pro AI.
