Kuaishou has announced a significant breakthrough in its video generation technology with the launch of the Keling 1.6 model. Compared to its predecessor, this new model has achieved notable improvements in text responsiveness, visual aesthetics, and motion coherence, providing users with a more stable and vivid video generation experience. The Keling 1.6 model also supports both standard and high-quality modes to cater to different user needs.
According to Kuaishou, the Keling 1.6 model has been comprehensively upgraded in multiple aspects. In terms of text responsiveness, the model now responds more accurately to descriptions of movements, sequences, and camera angles, generating video content that better matches the textual descriptions. Additionally, it can generate elements not included in the initial frame, making the video content richer and more diverse.
The Keling 1.6 model has also made significant progress in dynamic quality. It improves the naturalness and fluidity of facial expressions and the coordination of actions, resulting in more realistic and lifelike video content. These enhancements provide users with a more authentic viewing experience.
Furthermore, the Keling 1.6 model has significantly enhanced the visual quality of the videos. It maintains better style consistency, with more aesthetically pleasing colors, more reasonable lighting, and more realistic details. These improvements make the generated videos visually appealing and provide a more enjoyable viewing experience for users.
The Keling 1.6 model also offers a high-quality mode, which, according to the company, delivers a 195% overall improvement in video quality compared to the 1.5 model. In high-quality mode, the generated videos have a resolution of 1080p, while maintaining a generation efficiency of 35 inspiration points per 5 seconds and 70 inspiration points per 10 seconds. In standard mode, the video resolution is 720p, with a generation efficiency of 20 inspiration points per 5 seconds and 40 inspiration points per 10 seconds.
However, it's important to note that the current Keling 1.6 model does not yet support certain features such as control over the first and last frames, motion brushes, and camera movements. Additionally, Kuaishou provides non-members with a monthly allocation of inspiration points, and users can obtain more points by subscribing to a membership.
