Recently, a highly anticipated Kunlun Big Model Construction Seminar and Cooperation Signing Ceremony was held in Beijing. China Petroleum, China Mobile, Huawei, and iFlytek announced a strategic partnership to jointly build the Kunlun Big Model and promote the development and high-level application of artificial intelligence in the energy and chemical industry. During the signing ceremony, Dai Houliang, Chairman of China Petroleum Group, stated that this collaboration is a model of strong alliance and complementary advantages among the four companies. He emphasized the need to focus on the characteristics of China's petroleum industry, identify the entry points and breakthroughs for the development of artificial intelligence, refine the target path, and work together to build the Kunlun Big Model that embodies the characteristics of the energy and chemical industry and the technical features of big models. Dai Houliang also pointed out that this will help accelerate the innovation chain upgrade throughout the production and operation process, and promote the healthy and rapid development of the artificial intelligence industry. Liu Qingfeng, Chairman of iFlytek, expressed his expectations and confidence in this collaboration in his speech. He introduced the latest progress of the iFlytek Starfire Big Model and Intelligent Body Platform, and pointed out the important role of intelligent bodies in facilitating the implementation of industry scenarios. Liu Qingfeng stated that iFlytek is honored to be a core strategic partner of China Petroleum and will fully support the construction and application of the Kunlun Big Model. It is reported that iFlytek and Huawei previously launched the first domestically produced national computing power platform, "Feixing No. 1," and trained the iFlytek Starfire Big Model V3.5 based on it. This model has formed a comprehensive solution for big models on the cloud and edge, and has been widely used in various industry scenarios such as education, healthcare, automotive, industrial, finance, energy, and telecommunications. Huawei also officially released the PanGu Big Model 3.0 last year, which is a series of industry-oriented big models, including a 5+N+X three-tier architecture that can be used in multiple industry scenarios. This collaboration with China Petroleum, iFlytek, and China Mobile will further promote the application and development of the PanGu Big Model in the energy and chemical industry. The signing of this cooperation agreement marks the substantial stage of Kunlun Big Model construction. In the future, the four companies will jointly promote the research and application of the Kunlun Big Model in the energy and chemical industry, promote the intelligent upgrade of the industry, and contribute to the high-quality development of China's energy and chemical industry.
