ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode may be launched on September 24th.

It appears that ChatGPT’s advanced voice feature is set for a broad rollout on September 24. Recent leaks have revealed that the code includes a scheduled announcement for this date. The feature is likely to be introduced to users via the mobile app rather than the web platform. Additionally, the FAQ section for the advanced voice mode has been updated. Some users have also noticed changes to the information screen for the standard voice mode. Previously, it was stated that the advanced voice mode would be available to all users by the end of fall, but it now generally indicates that it will be gradually released soon.

Furthermore, there are new developments in ChatGPT’s macOS application. In the voice mode user interface (UI), the familiar black circular icon representing ChatGPT’s voice has been replaced by a sky animation that accompanies the spoken content.

Additionally, the voice page now features a button for quick voice selection. Currently, only four voices are available, but the user interface appears designed to support additional voices. This aligns with earlier reports indicating that more voices are available internally but are still under development.

Overall, the long-anticipated advanced voice mode may be released next week. However, it is worth noting that a similar ChatGPT announcement in June did not result in an actual release. Therefore, while the current signs are optimistic, it is advisable for users to maintain cautious expectations.
