According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is working on a new version of its health app, which will feature an AI coaching function designed to offer users personalized health advice.
Back in 2023, Gurman mentioned that Apple was preparing a similar feature. Now, he states that the development of this feature is progressing and is expected to launch in spring or summer 2026 alongside iOS 19.4.
The AI coach's recommendations will be based on data from users' medical devices and will cover aspects such as food tracking. Currently, the coach is being trained using data provided by practicing physicians, and Apple also plans to invite more doctors to record health-related videos.
Gurman revealed that this new service is tentatively called Health+.
