MediaTek announced that it has successfully deployed the T-Brain 1000 large-scale model on its flagship chip, the Dimensity 9300, achieving deep integration of large-scale models on mobile chips. It is worth mentioning that the T-Brain 1000 large-scale model can also run multi-turn AI conversations smoothly in offline mode, providing users with a more convenient intelligent experience. Alibaba Cloud also expressed its intention to collaborate closely with MediaTek to provide edge-side large-scale model solutions to global smartphone manufacturers, jointly promoting the development of smartphone intelligence. It is understood that the T-Brain 1000 has currently open-sourced various scales of large language models, including 1.8 billion, 7 billion, 14 billion, and 72 billion parameters, as well as multimodal large-scale models for visual and audio understanding. In October last year, Alibaba Cloud also released T-Brain 1000 2.0, with model parameters reaching the trillion-level, further enhancing the performance and capabilities of the model. This collaboration between MediaTek and Alibaba Cloud will enable smartphone chips such as Dimensity 9300 to better adapt to the edge-side T-Brain 1000 large-scale model, further enhancing the intelligence level and user experience of smartphones. In addition to the collaboration with Alibaba Cloud, MediaTek is also developing large language models on its own. Previously, MediaTek released the open-source MR Breeze-7B model, which is proficient in processing Traditional Chinese and English, with 7 billion parameters, based on the Mistral model.
