Microsoft Edge Browser Launches Copilot Pro Service on iOS and Android Platforms

2024-01-24

Microsoft quietly launched Copilot Pro in its Edge browser for iOS and is now testing it on Android. Copilot Pro is the advanced subscription version of Microsoft AI, supporting ChatGPT and large language models, providing access to GPT-4 Turbo during peak periods and 100 enhanced DALL-E 3 per day.

Currently, this feature is only available to a few people and requires a Pro subscription. Users who have purchased Copilot Pro on the Microsoft website can now access the advanced version of AI in the Edge browser on iOS. Although the integration of Copilot Pro is updated in real-time in the stable version of Microsoft Edge, the iOS version still lacks some advanced features, such as the Suno plugin.

Microsoft is optimizing the Copilot experience on mobile devices and gradually adding more features. According to sources, the AI music production function will be introduced to Copilot on mobile devices in the next few days. In addition, deeper integration between Phone Link and Copilot is also planned.

Android users can try Copilot Pro. By searching for "Copilot Pro" in Edge://flags and enabling the switch, you can access this feature in advance by restarting the browser. However, please note that Copilot Pro only works after purchasing a $20 subscription.

Microsoft is gradually implementing the AI productivity updates it promised at launch, and Copilot is receiving these updates step by step. The advanced feature "GPTs" has been discovered in Copilot, and Microsoft is also testing features such as reading aloud, powerful code interpreters, and editing prompts.
