2024-09-20

Kuaishou's video generation tool, Keling AI, has recently announced the internal testing of its version 1.5 foundational model. The latest update is anticipated to improve image quality, aesthetic presentation, motion realism, and semantic comprehension. Additionally, the new "Motion Brush" feature has been introduced to enhance video editing capabilities.

Since its official launch in June, Keling AI has undergone multiple iterations and upgrades. The latest version features several enhancements, including an increased video resolution from 720p to 1080p, more refined rendering of complex scenes and character details, and improved accuracy in understanding prompt texts. For instance, when processing specific scenarios such as women walking on the streets of Tokyo or personal close-ups, the new version better showcases lighting effects and natural variations in facial expressions.

Additionally, version 1.5 has shown improved handling of dynamic objects, such as significantly enhanced animation effects of sailboats in water cups. At the same time, the newly introduced "Motion Brush" feature allows users to specify the movement direction of elements within images, enhancing creators' control over the final video output.

The updated Keling AI can now generate up to four videos simultaneously and extend video length from five seconds to ten seconds. These functional advancements reflect Kuaishou's commitment to enhancing the user creation experience. According to statistics, over 2.6 million users have utilized Keling AI, cumulatively generating more than 27 million videos.

As technology continues to advance, Keling AI is progressively becoming a powerful tool for content creators, helping them produce more high-quality content in the short video sector.
