"New AI Audio Tools Added to Adobe Premiere Pro"
Content creators who can benefit from generative AI-assisted tools are not limited to writers. Adobe is making the editing process easier for video creators with its new AI audio tools and other practical features in Premiere Pro.
Recently, Adobe released the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro (22.4), which includes new AI capabilities and optimizations for video editing. The standout highlight is the introduction of the "Enhance Speech" feature.
If you have ever edited videos with dialogue, you know how challenging it can be to remove background noise while maintaining clear and audible speech. The "Enhance Speech" feature, now in beta, utilizes artificial intelligence to reduce background noise and improve the audio quality of your edits with just a click.
To further optimize the audio of your videos, Adobe has also introduced other AI-based audio tools. These include an interactive fade in/out processing tool to assist with audio transitions, as well as audio categorization tags that use AI to identify whether a clip contains dialogue, music, sound effects, or ambient noise.
Adobe also emphasizes that all AI features in Premiere Pro run on your device, utilizing the CPU and GPU, ensuring optimal speed and performance of the application to enhance your editing experience.
Premiere Pro also introduces some new features unrelated to AI, such as the ability to export videos as TikTok drafts or directly publish them to TikTok. This shortcut helps creators skip the additional steps of exporting and uploading, allowing them to seamlessly continue their workflow in Premiere.
