Knowledge management startup Stravito AB has announced the launch of a generative artificial intelligence assistant designed to help users extract and integrate insights for data-driven business decisions at scale.
The new service, called Stravito Assistant, builds upon the company's AI capabilities introduced last year and introduces a conversational approach that allows users to interact and collaborate with the technology in a bidirectional manner, streamlining workflows and accelerating insight acquisition.
With the new service, users can now engage in full conversations, with Stravito Assistant guiding users through follow-up and clarifying questions to delve deeper into their research and obtain the most useful and relevant information for their context. Each answer provided by the service comes with footnotes, allowing users to trust the provided answers and click to view the source material for more details. Answers can also be analyzed in-depth by time and location to reflect the dynamic nature of insights and how they vary by region.
"Previous use of generative AI for insights has shown us that obtaining optimal results requires asking the right questions and receiving conclusive answers based on contextualized and verifiable data," said Thor Olof Philogène, founder and CEO of Stravito. "By making Stravito Assistant more conversational and context-aware, we ensure that users can easily navigate the knowledge space and reduce the time required to obtain insights in a secure and transparent manner."
All conversation threads with Stravito Assistant are saved in a history tab, allowing users to revisit previous conversations. After a conversation, the service can also summarize key points into bullet points, including all referenced sources, or create a draft presentation with all referenced source pages, which can be downloaded and shared with others. The company claims that this makes it easier to take actionable insights and directly integrate them into projects.
The assistant only extracts information from the data owned by each client. The system is programmed to prioritize the latest data and flag when using older source material. If conflicting data points exist or there is no available data in the system to support a given answer, the Assistant informs the user, giving them an opportunity to uncover potential conflicts or knowledge gaps within the company.
"Stravito Assistant automates workflows and reduces the time required to obtain insights, enabling insight professionals and business stakeholders to make faster and more informed decisions," added Philogène.
Stravito is a venture-backed startup that has raised $23.8 million to date, according to Tracxn data. Notable investors include henQ, Creades AB, Endeit Capital Partners AB, and Inventure AB.
