Microsoft has resolved an issue that caused Copilot to be automatically uninstalled on certain Windows 11 devices. The company updated its support page, stating that affected devices are "being restored to their original state," which means the AI assistant will reappear in users' systems.
Previously, on Monday, Microsoft acknowledged a bug following its March 11 update that resulted in Copilot being uninstalled and unpinned from the taskbar. While working on fixing this issue, Microsoft recommended users reinstall Copilot from the Microsoft Store and manually pin it back to the taskbar.
Earlier this month, Microsoft began rolling out Copilot as a native Windows application, featuring a cleaner user interface and support for quick voice chats with Copilot via the Alt + Spacebar long-press shortcut.
In addition, Microsoft also identified another problem where users with Arm-based devices were unable to download Roblox from the Microsoft Store. The company stated that Roblox is currently addressing this issue and suggested users download the game directly from Roblox.com as an alternative solution.
