Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced a broad collaboration with NVIDIA to introduce enterprise computing solutions designed for generative AI. This partnership expands HPE's AI-native product portfolio, aimed at providing unprecedented opportunities for enterprises to accelerate AI model training, tuning, and inference.

This joint engineering solution simplifies the process of customizing foundational models using private data and facilitates the deployment of production applications in diverse environments, from edge to cloud. It offers a seamless end-to-end AI tuning and inference solution developed jointly by HPE and NVIDIA.

The new enterprise computing solution is part of the expanded collaboration between HPE and NVIDIA, providing enterprises with a full-stack, plug-and-play AI solution. These solutions integrate NVIDIA's AI enterprise software suite (including the powerful NVIDIA NeMo framework), HPE's machine learning development environment, HPE Ezmeral software, HPE ProLiant compute platform, and HPE Cray supercomputers.

HPE's President and CEO, Antonio Neri, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, "By combining HPE and NVIDIA, we are able to deliver comprehensive AI-native solutions that greatly simplify the process of developing and deploying AI models, offering a range of pre-configured solutions."

Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, added, "Our expanded collaboration with HPE will help drive unprecedented productivity for enterprises through AI applications connected to business data, enabling precise assistants, knowledgeable chatbots, and semantic search."

Designed and optimized for AI: This solution adopts market-leading rack-scale architecture configuration, equipped with HPE ProLiant compute DL380a, NVIDIA L40S GPUs, NVIDIA BlueField-3 data processing units (DPUs), and NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking platform to address scalable AI demands.

It also includes HPE's machine learning development environment with next-generation generative AI studio capabilities for rapid prototyping and testing, as well as HPE Ezmeral software with new GPU-aware features to simplify deployment and accelerate data preparation for AI workloads in hybrid clouds.

By leveraging NVIDIA AI Enterprise Edition to accelerate the development and deployment of production AI, this software suite provides security, stability, manageability, and support. The suite offers NVIDIA NeMo framework, guidance toolkits, data management tools, and pre-trained models to simplify enterprise solutions.

As part of the collaboration, HPE Services now offer extensive consulting services, employee training, and deployment solutions to guide enterprises through every step of their AI journey. These comprehensive services are now available in Spain, the United States, Bulgaria, India, and Tunisia, with support from the new Global AI and Data Excellence Centers.
