AI Song is a feature that generates songs based on text prompts, using the large language model Bloom. Users can write lyrics in the text box when posting. TikTok will recommend AI Song to add sound to the post, and users can switch the style of the song.

This feature was first discovered last week.

AI Song does not seem to be available to everyone yet, but some TikTok users have already started trying it. The current results are not ideal. Many songs are out of tune, despite the auto-tuning feature.

However, AI-generated songs are not something new for TikTok.

TikTok is not the only platform that offers generative AI features to users. Dream Track allows users to create 30-second clips in the style of other popular artists.
