Is the internal strife at OpenAI over? OpenAI co-founder Ultraman joins Microsoft to lead new AI research team

Microsoft CEO Nadella announced that the two co-founders of OpenAI, Ultron and Brockman, will join Microsoft to lead a newly established AI research team. Nadella expressed on Twitter that he looks forward to collaborating with OpenAI's new CEO, Scher, and his team. Ultron and Brockman are the co-founders of OpenAI and have previously served as the CEO and President of the company. They were dismissed by the OpenAI board last week due to their lack of honesty in communication with the board. Scher, the former CEO and co-founder of Twitch, left the game streaming platform in March of this year and continues to work for it as an advisor. Scher also founded the online calendar application Kiko during his university years, which was later acquired by Yahoo. It is reported that the OpenAI board has selected Scher as the new CEO, replacing Ultron.
