JD App has launched a beta version of its JD AI Assistant, which allows users to experience it by simply searching for "JD JD AI Assistant" and clicking on it.

JD AI Assistant is an AI-powered shopping assistant that provides the following features:

• Professional category consultation: Helps users understand professional knowledge about products.
• Personalized gift assistant: Recommends suitable gifts based on users' needs and preferences.
• Product comparison assistant: Compares the performance and features of different products, allowing users to choose the best one.
• Shopping experience knowledge: Shares tips, tricks, and experiences related to product usage.

It is reported that JD AI Assistant is developed based on JD's industrial large-scale model, the Yanxi model. This model has been piloted in multiple supply chain scenarios, including consumer guidance, merchant operations, customer service, and medical consultations.

JD Group CEO Xu Ran revealed at last week's 2023 Wuzhen Summit that JD has also applied large-scale models in internal management, achieving efficiency improvements in system code writing with the assistance of the models.

In addition, JD has also started testing the ability of AIGC to automatically generate graphic and textual marketing materials for products. Currently, it has covered over 2,000 retail third-level categories. JD stated that it will open up the capabilities of large-scale models to more brand merchants in the future.
