New details about Claude's upcoming feature called Harmony are emerging. Harmony will grant Claude full access to local directories, enabling it to research and manipulate content within those directories.

Key highlights of the Harmony feature include: the ability to scan local directories and link to specific files in responses; opening files in a sidebar; editing files and displaying modification differences for user review; searching for specific keyword usage; and functioning as a simplified integrated development environment (IDE).

Additionally, in Claude's new web application, more tools potentially related to the "Compas" feature were found in the code, such as "Memory" and "Tasks."

The new version of Claude's web app also mentions other added tool integrations. In addition to the previous "Web Search" and "Web Fetch" functions, it now includes "Create Sub-agent," "Memory," "Thought," "Sleep," "Complete Task," and possibly "Batch Processing" related to Claude Compass.

Several other new features are yet to be revealed.
